I hold a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from New York University and Master’s degree in counseling from Dallas Baptist University. My professional experience includes 15 years in education working with families, middle school, high school, and college students. Having worked in the college setting, I also have a focus on career counseling. Tengo una licenciatura en Psicología de la Universidad de Nueva York y una maestría en consejería de la Universidad Bautista de Dallas. Mi experiencia profesional incluye 15 años en la educación trabajando con familias, y los estudiantes en la secundaria, preparatoria y universidades. Como hija de inmigrantes nacidos en México, me intereso especialmente en ayudar a individuos y familias que luchan con la aculturación, la asimilación y otros problemas que la primera generación puede traer. Por que he trabajado con estudiantes universitarios, también tengo un enfoque en el asesoramiento de carrera profesional.
