Brief info

I am dually licensed as a Marriage & Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 25 years of experience. I’ve worked in private practice and community organizations helping adults, couples, and families process a variety of concerns: depression, anxiety, stress, grief/loss, anger, domestic abuse, marital issues and divorce, life transitions, self-esteem, codependency, conflict resolution, career direction, family concerns, religious issues and meaningfulness in life.

My greatest strengths as a therapist include empathy, care, intuition, courage, and hope. And I use these to help foster an environment where you feel safe and encouraged to explore and address your concerns. Working with couples, I’ll assist you in building healthy communication, conflict resolution, and intimate connection. I utilize treatment methods such as Gestalt, existential, family systems, and solution focused.

On my own time, I enjoy being with family and friends, hiking/camping, bicycling, working out, reading books and news, and a good cup of coffee! Besides my masters degree in counseling, I have a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Seminary.
