Brief info

Every journey is unique, and I would be honored to walk alongside you to help you navigate through life’s obstacles. I value your experience and hope to create a trusting, nonjudgemental relationship where you feel free to be yourself and have a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings and work to achieve your goals.  I am a Licensed Master Social Worker who graduated from the University of Kansas.  I have over twenty years of diverse experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in educational settings as a Social Worker, Teacher, and Section 504 Coordinator.  I hope to help those who are navigating anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorders, trauma, self-esteem, social anxiety, LGBTQ+, parenting, communication struggles, and work and/or school stressors.  My lifelong history of coping with medical challenges drives my passion for working with individuals facing health-related stressors, medical conditions, chronic pain, and those living with physical or mental disabilities. In addition to my professional experience, I bring personal insights from over 20 years of marriage and the parenting of two teenagers, which has further enriched my ability to understand and support you. I use a holistic approach that integrates evidence-based therapies and prioritizes open communication to make sure you feel empowered and heard every step of the way.  I am committed to providing compassionate and effective support for you on your journey towards self-discovery to create positive and lasting changes in your life.
