Brief info
I am a licensed professional counselor whose focus is on helping children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, stress, and emotional dysregulation. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), as well as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and exposure therapy to promote client wellbeing through evidence-based coping strategies. My style is warm and collaborative—I help clients uncover their own strengths and use them as a foundation as they work toward their goals. With younger clients, I bring art, play, and laughter into sessions to create a safe space where they feel free to express their emotions and develop a strong sense of self.
In addition to my role with Transitions Therapeutic Services, I volunteer in the playroom at the Pauline Allen Gill Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children's Medical Center Dallas. I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary's University, where I gained clinical experience at the community counseling center and at a middle and high school.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching funny movies, playing board games, and cheering on Dallas sports teams.
