Brief info
I specialize in supporting individuals, families, and couples across various stages of life. With a background in working at higher levels of care, including Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), I am skilled in helping my clients navigate complex mental health challenges and develop the tools they need to meet their goals.
Having experience in providing therapy for teens, adults and families, I have worked with many challenges including: anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, managing life transitions, stress, and trauma.
In couple’s and coparenting therapy, I assist with effective communication skills, conflict resolution, and rebuilding trust by incorporating techniques grounded in Family Systems Theory. I work to understand the family’s dynamics and how relationships within the family system impact individual behavior and mental health.
Being a Registered Art Therapist, I am able to offer a unique addition to the therapeutic process. Art Therapy has been proven to be an effective tool for emotional expression, processing trauma, and fostering self-discovery. I have experience providing art therapy across the lifespan, from children to adults, as well as with couples and families. While I believe in the power of creativity to facilitate healing and provide an alternative means of communication, I do understand using art in the therapeutic space is not for everyone. I am able to omit the use of art therapy and conduct sessions using traditional talk therapy.
