Brief info

I am a licensed professional counselor associate whose focus is on helping children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, stress, and OCD. I use evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and exposure therapy to help clients learn techniques to manage life’s challenges. My approach is both collective and supportive as I encourage clients to pull from their strengths to move them toward their goals. My practice with children frequently incorporates art, play, and laughter into the sessions as a way to promote emotional expression and a sense of security.

I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary’s University. I have clinical experience at a nonprofit organization, a community counseling center, and both middle and high school. Additionally to my role at Transitions Therapeutic Services, I am a playroom volunteer for the oncology/hematology unit at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.

During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching funny movies, playing board games, and cheering on Dallas sports teams.
